Loree Poirier is a ‘hands on therapist' here to help you heal in body, mind and soul. Loree brings her knowledge in 1-on-1 healing movement sessions to guide you to relieve any stress, anxiety, pain or trauma that might get locked in your body and keeps you stuck in your life.
Loree is certified by the Phoenix Rising School of Yoga Therapy (PRYT) and holds Bachelor degrees in both Psychology and Education.
She also has her Master’s Level in Reiki, is a certified Yoga Teacher (200hr) and spent time training as a respiratory therapist as well as working as a physiotherapy assistant.
Her passion is to help others empower themselves through different transitions in life.
She has had the chance to attend many workshops and trainings including Yoga for Trauma, as well as Tony Robbins’ UPW event where she became a “Fire Walker”.
In her spare time, Loree savours spending quality moments with her family and friends, and enjoys walking, hiking, writing, music, painting and travelling.

What is Somatic (Yoga) Therapy/Embodied Work?
Somatic (Yoga/Movement) Therapy is the process of empowering individuals toward improved health and well-being by connecting the mind, body and spirit through embodied movement.
Loree graduated from the school of Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy, which is certified by standards from the IAYT (International Association of Yoga Therapists). By combining traditional yoga practices and general movement with therapeutic dialogue, Loree leads her clients to self-awareness.
Through the use of breath and supported postures, we can address aspects of the mind and body for a holistic approach to healing.
The best thing about Yoga Therapy is that no yoga experience is needed!
In a nut shell: in a Yoga Therapy session with Loree you will talk, breathe, move and see what your body has to say or has been holding onto to help you on your healing journey and leaving you with an action plan for your everyday life.
